The Lygna river is well known for its salmon population.
Lygna is in all 82.2 kilometers long, but it is only in the lower half there are salmon - the fish does not travel over Kvåsfossen and up to Hægebostad. But the new salmon ladder, which was completed in August 2014 changed this situation!
You share the riverbank with local anglers, tourists from Germany and other enthusiasts of all ages. Right above Kvelland waterfall is also a fishing spot for the disabled.
